I have another real wedding to share with you today! Sarah and Brian's wedding certainly portrays elegance, especially the long black bridesmaid's dresses. I love the fun pop of lime green to spice things up a bit. All of the black and white photographs that Linda captured are amazing too!

Inspiration Shoot: Spring Countryside
I have another beautiful inspiration shoot to share with you today, photographed by Katie Schoepflin. I especially love the bouquet and the bride's hair accessories! The peach, spring green and coral color palette is really lovely as well.

Inspiration 191: Parisian Spring Wedding
Oh Paris, you really inspire me. I saw this lovely this lovely Paris inspired table set-up and sweet French macaroon cake and wanted to make a Paris inspired board. I've made a vintage Parisian board before, but this time I went with a lavender and green spring board! Also, I think a crepe station would be a great and delicious way to end the night.

Inspiration 183: Spring Aqua and Yellow + Green Hydrangeas
This is my favorite color palette! The bride who requested this board wants her spring wedding to have use light aqua, yellow and green as the colors and to be springy without looking beachy. She also wants to incorporate green hydrangeas which I included in both of the bridal bouquets. The men will be wearing gray suits which I showed paired with a light aqua tie and a yellow and green boutonniere. For more aqua and yellow wedding inspiration check out these two amazing weddings: Kelly + Eric and Celina + David. Elements of both weddings are featured in this board.

Inspiration 182: Soft Purple and Blue with a Pop
I love the way the brighter purples and blues add a pop to this soft pastel board. Hydrangeas play a big part in this board but I love the small purple flowers in the centerpiece of the picture in the top right corner. What do you think of this color palette?

Inspiration 174- Country City Fusion
Oh, this color combo is just lovely! The bride who requested this board wanted to work with a sophisticated white and black color palette with the flowers adding a pop of color. She wanted to incorporate coral peonies, blue hydrangeas and pink ranunculus. I focused this board more on the bright, pretty flowers but I really think this color combo will compliment a black and white wedding well!

Inspiration 171: Pink and Blue, Is It For You?
Baby pink and blue are usually reserved for just that, babies! Lately I have been seeing a bunch of baby pink and blue weddings so I thought I'd make a board inspired by them and I actually think this color palette is really pretty. And that pink convertible picture is really making my swoon, and want a pink car!

Inspiration #153- Pretty Outdoor Hydrangea Wedding
Vintage bicycles and hydrangeas are a few elements the bride who requested this board wanted to add to her summer wedding. She also wants to use a color palette of shades of purple and light greens, which is a great palette for an outdoor summer (or spring) wedding! Her fiance is a competitive cyclist so the bicycles are a really nice way to incorporate her husband-to-be, I especially love the chalkboard seating chart with the hand drawn bike at the top.

Inspiration #109- Preppy Chic Navy and Peach Wedding
The bride who requested this board found my blog through another blogger who I made a board for, how exciting! She wants to work with a peach and navy color palette with the men possibly in seersucker (love it!) or navy blazers with khakis. The plan for the wedding so far is to be outside, as well as an outside reception and the bride wants it to be preppy, chic, classy and simple. Also, she wants to incorporate hydrangeas, southern details (like mason jars) and have a peach Bellini as a signature drink since the couple was engaged in Venice.

Inspiration #96- Navy and Lime Aquarium Wedding
How much fun does an aquarium reception sound? I think it sounds amazing. The bride who requested this board is working with a navy and lime color scheme with pops of orange. She also mentioned that she loves the idea of using fruit in her centerpieces. I have a feeling this wedding is going to be lovely and a lot of fun!

Inspiration #94- A Non-traditional Winter Wedding
A bride who wants to wear converse? Amazing! I love little non-traditional details like that, another non-traditional element I really like is patterned bridesmaids dresses. The bride who requested this board is using a cobalt and platinum color palette for her winter themed wedding. She mentioned that she loved the cake topper shown in this board, which I think is totally modern and very cute. I also like the idea of finding some graffiti to take some wedding photos in front of, very non-traditional and very fun!

Theme Thursday #13- Pretty Peony Backyard Wedding
If you've read through my blog you probably know that I have a strong love for backyard weddings. I just love the fun, laid back atmosphere that they exude. This board was created for a bride who is having her wedding and reception in her parents backyard. Her color scheme is green and pink, using mostly peonies and hydrangeas. She wants the wedding to have a rustic yet elegant country feel to it. I absolutely adore the fact that she bought mismatched china and tea cups from a second hand store. Plus, I think its super sweet that the wedding favors are going to be homemade jams and salsas made by herself, her mother, her mother-in-law and her grandmother! They also plan to have a small cake to cut with cupcakes for the guest and a dessert table.
Also, the bride mentioned that her fiance is a dairy farmer so I thought it would be a really cute idea to have cookies with milk "shots" at the wedding too!

Inspiration #71- Textured
This inspiration board works with a navy and green color scheme with hints of chocolate brown, pink, yellow and orange. The bride wants to incorporate a lot of texture into her wedding. One way she plans to do that is to dress her two flower girls in tutus! Other ways I incorporated texture was a very textured bridal gown and using fiddle head ferns.

Alternative Wednesdays #7- Different Bouquets!
To go along with "mismatch week" I wanted to come up with something that was along the same line for this Alternative Wednesday. What I came up with was mismatched bridesmaids bouquets! You could do same flowers in different colors, different flowers in different colors, different flowers in similar shades of one color or the same type of flowers in different shades of one color. I think that having each bridesmaid carry a bouquet of one of the flowers that make up your bouquet looks lovely. There are tons of possibilities! I really enjoy the personality and quirky-ness this detail adds to weddings. Here are some examples I found:

Inspiration #54- Sentimental Soiree
I love the bridesmaids dresses (it's called 'Slice of Lime' from Anthropologie) this bride chose, I want to buy it for myself! The dress has a hot pink liner too, which she wants to incorporate into the flowers. Yet another element she wanted to incorporate was a few sentimental touches. I love the idea of showing family wedding pictures (the bride's idea), a bouquet charm and handwriting the seating chart on a black board. Another idea is to include sentimental places on the map you use for directions to the wedding. To incorporate the lime from the bridesmaids dresses into the reception I would use cut limes in the centerpieces. One more thing she wants to include is a baseball themed favor since her fiance is a baseball coach. I like the idea of handing out bags of peanuts and cracker jacks (like in the song 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame").
