Real Wedding: Margaret & Taylor's Fairytale Wedding

Check out this beautiful wedding, it reminds me of a real life fairytale... complete with horse and carriage!  The blush and gray color palette is one of my favorites right now.  I love the soft romantic portraits KJImages captured.

Real Wedding: Sarah & Brian's Elegant Black and Green Wedding

I have another real wedding to share with you today!  Sarah and Brian's wedding certainly portrays elegance, especially the long black bridesmaid's dresses.  I love the fun pop of lime green to spice things up a bit.  All of the black and white photographs that Linda captured are amazing too!

Real Wedding: Beth & Jamie's Elegant Rustic Colorado Wedding

This wedding really portrays rustic elegance throughout all of the elements.  Their cake is simply beautiful and I love the current trend of the "bride" and "groom" signs on the back of the chairs at the reception.  Of course, the couple is totally adorable too!  Thanks to Christina Kiffney Photography for sharing this pretty wedding.

Theme Thursday 35: Sweet Silhouettes

I love the vintage elegance that silhouettes lend to a wedding.  This color palette is really lovely and works well with the slightly vintage feel this board has!

Inspiration 211: Elegant Wine & Berries

Getting back to the suggested palettes from the contest awhile back I created this wine and berries board on someone's suggestion!  I combined the wine/sangria color with bold red (like strawberries), cranberry and a mixture of pinks.  Of course, I love the blackberries combined into the top left bouquet!

Custom Invitations : Rustic Elegance Barn Wedding Invitations

Sneak a Peek! Here is a little taste of the hand painted rustic elegance custom wedding invitations design I created for Sydney and Christopher. I love the couple standing in the doorway of the barn. Inside this custom-made booklet style invitation is lovely sparkling blue card stock with an overlay of thick white invitation card boasting their blue wording. On the left inside, outdoor globe lighting strings are hand illustrated to give the guests a glimpse of the venue. I will post more photos on My Personal Artist Blog very soon.

Theme Thursday 30: Elegant Black & White Polka Dot Anemone Wedding

Anemones are such fun flowers, they are great for a polka dot wedding because they look like giant polka dots themselves!  I went a little more elegant on this board by keeping the polka dots in the details and having the bridesmaids in black.  I think the addition of guinea hen feather hair pieces would be a great way to add polka dots to the bridal party in a sophisticated way.  And that's what I think this board portrays, a fun but sophisticated wedding with visually interesting details.
