Inspiration 219: Modern Rustic

After spotting this wedding, I thought a modern rustic board was definitely necessary!  I love how the modern, clean lines pop against the rustic elements of this board.  I think the bridesmaids in a LBD really bring a modern touch too.   For this board I kept with a mainly black and white color palette with a few pops of green!

Real Wedding: Sarah & Brian's Elegant Black and Green Wedding

I have another real wedding to share with you today!  Sarah and Brian's wedding certainly portrays elegance, especially the long black bridesmaid's dresses.  I love the fun pop of lime green to spice things up a bit.  All of the black and white photographs that Linda captured are amazing too!

Favorite Photo Friday 30: Cuddle

How sweet is this shot?  I love how candid it is, seems like they are just chatting in bed like nothing is going on!  Have an amazing weekend everyone!

Alternative Wednesday 20: Belted

My new obsession:  belts on bridal gowns!  And I don't mean "sashes" I mean for real belts.  Whether it's a sweet white style, a rustic brown addition or a more modern black belt... I love them all.

Alternative Wednesday #19: Skirts for Bridesmaids!

If you want to give your  bridesmaids a modern look that they can wear again (and probably again and again and again...)-- dress them in stylish skirts!  It is also an affordable option with endless choices as far as colors, patterns and styles.  You can create a fun and flirty look, a classy look or a preppy look... the sky's the limit!

Monday Funday 16- Skylines and Rooftops: a (500) Days of Summer Wedding

(500) Days of Summer is my favorite movie, and when I saw this (500) Days of Summer wedding shoot on Sarah Yates blog I knew I was going to make a board inspired by it!  For the wedding gown, I went with something short with a blue bow to reflect the dress Summer wore to the wedding in the movie.  I love that at the shoot they incorporated a pancake buffet, so yummy sounding.  How about blue printed dresses like the one Summer wore at her rooftop party for your bridesmaids?  And don't forget the skylines and chalkboards!
