Wednesday's cake of the day: Pink and orange delight

It was meant to happen. I was supposed to be searching for my 'cake of the day' last night, but instead I was completing a job application for a work at home HR manager. So I jumped on here this morning with the plan to quickly find something, but thank my lucky stars on my Facebook News page there was this absolute beauty shared by Kim of the TomKat Studio.

Isn't this the most beautiful cake? I have to get better at this fondant decorating stuff. The simple white cake with a decoration, whether that decoration is edible or not is just such an amazing combination. Problem is I know that the white fondant alone is not that simple to do!
