I've been asked a number of times to post photos of my studio. I just completely cleaned out my studio and figured this was the best time to photograph it before the wedding season gets into full swing.
I'm a pretty neutral girl in my home decorating. My house is all in earth tones. But when designing the studio, I wanted a pop of color, clean lines and a ton of storage. I started with the apple green chairs from Ikea, with a green glass top table for meeting clients. I took the apple green onto one wall and then finished the other walls and ceiling with two shades of grey.
Mini collage shelves hold favorite products and display personal effects such as this porcelain flower sculpture that was my grandmother's.
The collage photo frame holds photos from The Shooting Gallery. This frame is in my direct line of sight as I enter the studio and I will never tire looking at my lovely ladies each time I walk in. :)
My "office" has spilled into all areas of the house. My equipment is hidden in a bonus room area connected to the studio. I store all of my current order materials in a large walk in closet in the guest bedroom. It is lined with shelf after shelf. Then I've taken over another bedroom as my computer and photo shooting gallery. And then I lined the entire storage area in the basement with shelving to hold new client boxes and packing material. Who knew stationery could take up so much room.
I hope you enjoyed the peek into my studio!
