Emily's wedding reception is at The Colony Club in Detroit. Her colors are chocolate brown & gold and they are a gorgeous combination for these vintage-style invitations. When we started talking about design, we started with some vintage graphics and elements. Emily immediately knew that she wanted a font only invitation.
I used a vintage script font but did some modern touches - like all lower case script font for the text body of the invitation.
Her insert are wrapped with a large band of gold metallic paper and each one is printed with the guests' names.
On the back of the sashes, I placed their monogram.
Her RSVP postcard front was designed with a pretty monogram that is carried onto her reception pieces. Custom stamps were designed with another monogram.
Her reception card is my favorite piece on metallic gold cardstock and gorgeous swash letters. A custom map was also designed.
The same custom stamp finishes the set on the gold metallic envelopes with lots of swash letters in custom machined calligraphy.
Table numbers were also designed using their full monogram.
