Katey's journey to these invitations has been long and incredibly fun. I really wanted to do something different and I ended up doing two new print processes that you'll be seeing from me more and more in the future. Katey's colors are red and gold and I wanted the entire set to be incredibly rich feeling. The invitation itself is printed red and with this incredibly rich, metallic gold.
The inserts are wrapped with yards of luscious red ribbon and you can see the effect with the metallic gold ink on the rsvp card.
The reception card is so vibrant in red ink on gold cardstock.
And one of my favorite touches - the gold ink on red envelopes. I've never said "swoon" in my life, but this set makes me do just that. Thanks Katey, getting here was a journey and it sure was worth it.
