Heather and Julian came to me when their wedding planner, Laura Davis Events, suggested I could design their custom invitations when none of the catalogue invitations were "it". When Heather saw the booklet invitation that I made last year, she was hooked.
I designed this custom frame around their names. This frame became the basis for all of the other invitation pieces.
The cover of the booklet is a similar frame with a detail of Detroit, Michigan along the bottom.
The RSVP is a matching printed cardstock with custom paisley stamps. The RSVP is held into the front cover with this printed paper sash.
The last page of the book invitation is the reception and accommodations information.
Each booklet is held shut with a custom sash printed with each guest's names.
And the back of the sash is a monogram.
The monogram was carried onto another custom stamp on the outer envelopes.
