Why oh why does the post office make the stamps worse and worse every year? Why would they mess with a good thing like the simple but stylish Love stamps that you could buy for the last two years.

Why would they make these stamps - particularly the 1oz stamp - look like something from a Hallmark card in the 80's? At LEAST they are white - I have to give them that.
The other "LOVE" stamp - gets worse.
Now who has a Poker, card playing theme??? Anyone? I didn't think so.
And it goes on from there. In the past there have been pretty stamps, like the flowers, Louis Comfort Tiffany and Lunar Stamps - just to name a few.

And I am quaking in my boots at what the postcard stamps might be. They are currently not pictured on usps website, but just to give you an idea of terrible options in the past.

And 2008's postcard stamps - better at first glance, but that Papaya stamp! What man designed that?!?!?
So what to do? More and more of my brides have me design custom stamps from Zazzle. I only charge $10 per design for the stamps. But if custom postage just isn't in the budget, you could buy stamps from Ebay or stock up on stamps now from the post office. The only problem? Postage rates will likely be going up again May of this year.
