Kelly's wedding dress is four ply ivory silk crepe layered over pale grey silk crepe de chine. We used the matte side of some bright orange silk charmeuse for the straps. Considering how fussy and overwrought wedding dresses can be, Kelly's dress is proof positive that sometimes something simple and effortless is the most elegant choice. I'm really inspired by this dress...I want to make them in fifty different color combinations. Watch for this design's recurrence in my fall collection.
