Yes, it's spring, even though it's snowing (!) at the moment. The daffodils and hyacinths in my garden are huddled together as if to say, "Okay, let's just wait this out." I know just how they feel--this sulky weather is the perfect excuse for lots and lots of hours in the studio. I'm designing a new collection for my spring/summer show (end of April...stay tuned). A short trip to Los Angeles yielded some lovely fabrics...oh, so lovely. Hilariously beautiful silk prints, luxurious chunky linens, weirdo neutrals mixed with neon brights, and a few surprises. Here is a tiny advance peek at one of my new pieces.
